Pixoff: Pixel OFF Save Battery

Pixoff is an app that helps save battery life by applying a filter that turns off pixels on your screen. It also includes a night filter option to reduce the harmful blue light. Furthermore, you can further reduce battery consumption by using a true black wallpaper.

Screens do not have a backlight; instead, they have tiny red, blue, or green colored lights called sub-pixels. When the screen displays black, it simply doesn't light up any of the sub-pixels, which results in significant power savings.
